Job Description

The Materials Coordinator will primarily responsible for the receiving, inspecting, replenishing of Medical implant kits. This role at times will also be responsible for processing customer orders. Responsible for performing various duties and functions within the distribution team in support of team goals.

 

2pm Start Time M-F

 

Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)

 

  • Sort inbound kits daily by type - Implant or Instrument. 
  • Use the JD Edwards Kit System to receive, inspect, replenish both implant and instrument kits. 
  • Implement basic kit reconfigurations caused by BOM changes and ensure that all the kits that are placed on the shelf are complete per the BOM as well as being fully functional. 
  • Ensure that inventory used to replenish kits is transacted appropriately. 
  • Cleans instruments and ensures basic functionality, replacing any and all damaged components.
  • Re-shrink wraps sterile items as needed. 
  • Inspects and replenishes kits accurately and places them on the proper shelf. 
  • May also be involved in the order fulfillment process to include order pulling, order prep, and running ADSI/FedEx Ship Manager. 
  • Coordinates with customer service to cover kit expedites. 
  • Assists with new build kit activities of staging, transacting and kitting process.

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in relevant field of study required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 3 years' experience in a similar role highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with FedEx Ship Manager
  • Familiarity with Enterprise ERP Systems such as JDEdwards, SAP, SalesForce
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
