Job Description

Are you an experienced Master Electrician with a passion for ensuring electrical systems operate safely and efficiently in manufacturing? Our client is seeking a skilled professional to join their team. This is an opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborate with a talented team, and contribute to the seamless functioning of complex electrical systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Install, repair, and service electrical systems, including machinery, panels, motors, and assembly stations.
  • Collaborate closely with fellow electricians, technicians, and project managers for effective project planning and execution.
  • Independently test and troubleshoot systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Source or fabricate replacement electrical components as needed.
  • Interpret schematics to guide installation and repair processes.
  • Liaise with other departments to coordinate tasks and ensure project requirements are met.
  • Provide guidance, training, and supervision to electrical apprentices.
  • Obtain necessary permits, equipment, tools, and materials for projects.
  • Maintain accurate project records and other relevant documents.
  • Operate large machinery, forklifts, hoists, and lifts as required.
  • Support job safety and overall crew operations, including staging materials and site preparation/clean-up.
  • Communicate and coordinate with electrical inspectors as necessary.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma and/or college degree preferred.
  • Valid certificate/license of Master Electrician is required.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in electrical systems installation and repair.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
  • Contractor's license is preferred; willingness to test for one is required.

Preferences:
  • Experience with in-house training programs.
  • Proven track record of effective collaboration and project execution.
  • Proficiency in sourcing and fabricating electrical components.
  • Familiarity with operating large machinery and equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in record-keeping.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team coordination.
