Job Description

Our client, a family-owned Midwestern grocery/retailer that strives to better the lives of people in all communities is in need of a Customer Engagement Coordinator-Loyalty.
 
This will be onsite working a hybrid schedule in Grand Rapids, MI with the majority of time spent at the desk location.
 
 This is more of an entry-level marketing position, to support the Loyalty digital coupon business. There is the potential for contract-to-hire. 
 
This position works closely with the Customer Loyalty Team to develop and deliver strategic direct marketing plans and programs designed to grow the business. This role assists in building marketing plans, creates multi-channel campaigns, interprets results, collaborates with vendors & merchants, and is accountable for managing multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.
 
 This position includes ownership of various ongoing projects designed to develop and enhance our marketing capabilities through loyalty offerings.
 
 This position will serve as a subject matter expert, the role for seeking efficiencies using their internal and industry knowledge to provide innovative customer data solutions.
 
 Duties and Responsibilities (Key Deliverables):
 
 - Develops targeted marketing programs to effectively drive customer acquisition, growth, and retention.
 - Interfaces with Merchandising and Marketing teams as well as external partners to identify effective ways to deliver personalized targeted communications and experiences.
 - Actively collaborate with technical IT teams to provide technical/system requirements for Logix, SAP, and Adobe systems used to execute targeted campaigns.
 - Reviews the performance and effectiveness of campaigns and adjusts as necessary to achieve objectives.
 - Serves as the subject matter expert for the marketing systems used to support & execute targeted campaigns.
 - Identifies opportunities and challenges for market activity through discussions and analysis of data.
 - Develops and implements the business processes required to support campaigns.
 

Job Requirements

Education: - Bachelor's degree required
 Experience: - Marketing experience, specifically in Direct, Targeted, Digital, Loyalty, Personalization, and various Customer Engagement programs

 Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: 
- Applied knowledge of customer data systems, campaign management, and loyalty and targeting methods.
 - Understanding of critical success factors & KPI's for customer data usage.
 - Collaborate closely with other key business teams (e.g. Marketing Specialists, Marketing Analytics & Merchandising).
 - Proven ability to lead high-visibility projects.
 - Exceptional organizational, planning, and time management skills with an ability to prioritize multiple/competing projects & assignments while maintaining accuracy & a positive attitude.
 - Able to operate independently without bypassing partner collaboration.
 - Proven ability to present, interact and collaborate with all levels of leadership.
 - Strategic thinker with business orientation to drive traffic, profits & ROI.
 - Fast learner and high performer with a proactive nature and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
 - Share efficiencies and best practices, coach and develop other specialists on the team when necessary.
 - Strong written, proofreading, and oral communication skills; attention to detail.
 - Advanced Excel abilities
