Job Description
An iMPact Business Group manufacturing client is seeking to hire a Value Stream Manager. This role is with a highly successful manufacturing client in the precision manufactured components industry.
This role will focus on -
Leading and managing a designated production area to ensure customer satisfaction through timely delivery and quality performance. This role coordinates cross-functional support-including purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, and logistics-to meet area goals and drive continuous improvement aligned with the Company's operating systems.
Primary Duties:
* Serve as the primary point of contact for customer delivery and quality concerns within the value stream
* Coordinate and procure necessary support functions to meet production and operational goals
* Facilitate area meetings and promote continuous improvement initiatives
* Foster team engagement through regular communication, mentoring, and support of improvement ideas
* Ensure a safe and healthy work environment in compliance with OSHA and company standards
* Manage key performance indicators including headcount, labor costs, and on-time delivery
* Utilize manufacturing systems data to drive cost awareness and analysis
* Provide timely feedback and performance reviews for team members
* Lead and support project start-up teams within the value stream
* Understand, follow, and support the company Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS) processes
Supervisory Duties:
* Responsible for the management, training, direction, and evaluation of the assigned production area
* Ensures compliance with company policies and applicable laws, including OSHA regulations

Job Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
* Minimum of 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or supply chain management
* Experience with supervision / leading Staff
* Minimum of 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or supply chain management
* Experience with supervision / leading Staff
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
* Strong communication skills both written and verbal, able to interpret technical documents, and communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers

* Capable of preparing and delivering presentations to various audiences
* Proficient in statistical analysis, cost calculations, and data interpretation
* Able to read and apply production data and graphs
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to define issues, collect data, and draw valid conclusions
* Able to identify defects and apply practical solutions using production reports and metrics
* Ability to work a flexible schedule averaging around 50 hours per week
* Comfortable working in both office and manufacturing environments, with exposure to noise and oil
* Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform tasks requiring close and distance vision
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to define issues, collect data, and draw valid conclusions
* Able to identify defects and apply practical solutions using production reports and metrics
* Ability to work a flexible schedule averaging around 50 hours per week
* Comfortable working in both office and manufacturing environments, with exposure to noise and oil
* Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform tasks requiring close and distance vision
Contract positions
Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment.
Permanent placed employees
Paid by and qualify for benefits in accordance with the policies of the hiring company.
