Our client, a Global Leader in the Medical Device Industry has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Transfer Project Manager for a 12 month + Contract. Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)

Provide overall project direction as related to schedule, cost, performance, and resources. Will develop project plans including task lists, GANTT or PERT chart. Will develop functional specifications that fully define project and product. Including cost, performance criteria, scope, capital equipment request/justification.

This project will include the transfer of assigned product line from one location to another within the US. This project may encompass exposure to technical material where engineers, planners, buyers or manufacturing associates will be engaged. The position will also demand timely and accurate reporting of financial progress or requirements to support project tasks/activities. Exposure to regulated or mandated industries (Pharma, Medical, Food.) where procedural requirements are a must. Able to digest governance and control concepts such as validation, testing and acceptance, design and process controls.


Managing various manufacturing transfer Projects . Leading a cross functional team to execute various tasks with the manufacturing transfer process.
Building project schedules and starting team meetings
Building relationships and managing internal suppliers
Travel to meet with suppliers within United States (passport preferred due to possibility of occasional International travel)
Supplier Quality Engineering/auditing experience preferred
Experience in manufacturing operations including process flow a plus
Experience with managing projects across multiple countries, suppliers, teams


5+ years experience managing Large projects tied to Manufacturing or Manufacturing Transfer
Bachelor s degree in Engineering required (Mechanical or Electrical preferred)
Ability to Travel Domestically and possible International
Experience working internationally with multiple stakeholders.
PMI/PMP Certification highly desired.
