Our client, a Global Leader in the Medical Device Industry has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Transfer Project Manager for a 12 month + Contract. Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)

This project will include the transfer of 15 components between 6 suppliers across multiple countries. This project may encompass exposure to technical material where engineers, planners, buyers or manufacturing associates will be engaged. The position will also demand timely and accurate reporting of financial progress or requirements to support project tasks/activities. Exposure to regulated or mandated industries (Pharma, Medical, Food.) where procedural requirements are a must

Manages the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation.
Managing various manufacturing transfer Projects. Leading a cross functional team to execute various tasks with the manufacturing transfer process.
Able to digest governance and control concepts such as validation, testing and acceptance, design and process controls.
Building project schedules and starting team meetings
Accountable for meeting agreed upon scope, cost, schedule and quality measures.
Develops project plan and drives project milestones.
Establishes effective communication plan with project team and key stakeholders.
Provides day-to-day direction to project resources.
Ensures effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project.
Responsible for preparation of documentation, status reports and budgets.
Role requires excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills.
Expert knowledge of MS Project, Excel, MS Word and Visio.


Bachelor s Degree Required
5 years experience with Managing large projects
Experienced building relationships and managing international suppliers
Ability and willingness to travel and meet with suppliers in China and Costa Rica
Project Planning software technical skills, including status reporting. PMP certification.
Ability to network and self-seek adjacent work partners for awareness to how this work fits into the broader plan and to help manage any competing priority project asks.
Excellent virtual conversation skills (e.G., Skype, Video conferencing) to maximize communication when in-person conversations are not possible.
Having worked for a Medical Device or Pharmaceutical Company
International Manufacturing Transfer experience highly desired
