Job Description

Our client, a Global Leader in the Medical Device Industry has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Support Engineer for a 18 month + Contract.  Our client offers results-driven people a place where they can make a difference - every day!  You will also have the opportunity to work with other like-minded, self-directed and detail oriented Top Talents in an extremely collaborative and professional environment. 

 

Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)

  • Ensuring that quality levels and industry standards are maintained or improved in the manufacturing process.
  • Overseeing installation, operation, maintenance and repair of equipment  
  • Evaluating mechanical products to determine their cost effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Evaluating field installations and recommending design modifications to eliminate malfunctions.
  • Providing manufacturing support, troubleshooting equipment, and recommending improvements, etc.
  • Updating operation procedures for production and training.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree desired
  • 3+ years Manufacturing Engineering experience.
  • 1 year of line transfer experience.
  • Equipment validation, IQ/OQ/PQ experience preferred.
  • PLC/Ladder Logic troubleshooting experience preferred.
  • Must be able to travel up to 1 week a month. 

Contract positions

Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment. 

 

Permanent placed employees

Paid by and qualify for benefits in accordance with the policies of the hiring company.
