Our client, a frontrunner in the Automotive Industry, is on the lookout for a seasoned Manufacturing Manager to spearhead the daily operations at their manufacturing hub. This pivotal role encompasses the management and synchronization of all production facets, including planning, scheduling, quality assurance, and inventory oversight. We are seeking someone with a solid track record in the automotive manufacturing sector and robust expertise in operations management.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and enforce operational policies to streamline and enhance facility functions.
  • Arrange production timetables to align with customer needs and optimal inventory.
  • Evaluate and refine production processes for efficiency gains and cost reduction.
  • Supervise quality control to fulfill customer standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to troubleshoot production issues and devise improvement strategies.
  • Budget management, including expense tracking and capital investment planning.
  • Implement and oversee safety protocols to ensure a secure workplace.
  • Educate and guide staff, enhancing their operational management proficiency.

Job Requirements

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or similar.
  • Over 8 years in automotive manufacturing, with 5+ years in operations management.
  • Expertise in manufacturing processes, production planning, and inventory control.
  • Experience leading production and quality control teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production tools.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexibility for varied hours and emergency response.
Preferences:
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience with automotive systems like SAP or Oracle.
  • Bilingual abilities (English and Spanish).
