Job Description
Our client, a global manufacturing company in the Holland/Zeeland area, is actively looking for Manufacturing Engineering Techs to join their team!
2nd and 3rd shifts available:
Shift hours are roughly:
2nd shift: 2:30pm-10:30pm
3rd shift: 10:30pm-6:30am
The Manufacturing Engineering Tech will be involved in:
- Continuous improvement activities to reduce cycle time/down-time due to set-up, change-over, processes, and/or tooling.
- Maintaining and supporting a highly automated assembly line
- Supporting Manufacturing Engineers with daily activities
- Optimizing cell layout and process flow
- Developing standard work instructions for tools and machines
- Assisting with various engineering documentation
Job Requirements
Must have:
- 2+ years of technical experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Blueprint reading skills
- Mechanical knowledge - basic knowledge of manufacturing machines in relation to tooling, set up and maintenance
Prefer:
- Associates in an Engineering related field
- Knowledge/experience with robotics/automated assembly lines
