Job Description

Our client, a global manufacturing company in the Holland/Zeeland area, is actively looking for Manufacturing Engineering Techs to join their team!
2nd and 3rd shifts available:

Shift hours are roughly:
2nd shift: 2:30pm-10:30pm
3rd shift: 10:30pm-6:30am

The Manufacturing Engineering Tech will be involved in:
  • Continuous improvement activities to reduce cycle time/down-time due to set-up, change-over, processes, and/or tooling.  
  • Maintaining and supporting a highly automated assembly line
  • Supporting Manufacturing Engineers with daily activities
  • Optimizing cell layout and process flow 
  • Developing standard work instructions for tools and machines
  • Assisting with various engineering documentation

Job Requirements

Must have:
  • 2+ years of technical experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environment 
  • Blueprint reading skills
  • Mechanical knowledge - basic knowledge of manufacturing machines in relation to tooling, set up and maintenance


Prefer:
  • Associates in an Engineering related field
  • Knowledge/experience with robotics/automated assembly lines

Contract positions

Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment. 

 

Permanent placed employees

Paid by and qualify for benefits in accordance with the policies of the hiring company.
