Job Description

Our client in the Muskegon/Nortron Shore, MI area is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for direct hire who is responsible for improving and maintaining the production process in our automotive manufacturing facility. This includes designing and implementing new production systems, troubleshooting and resolving production issues, and identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.  If you are a dedicated and detail-oriented professional with a passion for manufacturig, we encourage you to APPLY for this exciting opportunity.

This position also involves:
  • Design and implement new production systems and processes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, quality, and supply chain, to ensure production goals are met
  • Create and maintain production documentation, such as process flows and standard operating procedures
  • Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Provide training and support for production personnel

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with experience in automotive manufacturing preferred
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment
  • Experience with lean manufacturing techniques
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software and manufacturing software is a plus.

Contract positions

Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment. 

 

Permanent placed employees

Paid by and qualify for benefits in accordance with the policies of the hiring company.
