Are you a detail-driven leader with a passion for quality assurance and software development? Our client is seeking a Manager-Quality Assurance to lead a team of QA engineers and automation testers, ensuring high-quality software products and seamless user experiences. This role requires a deep understanding of testing methodologies, software development life cycles, and Agile processes, particularly within the Property & Casualty insurance industry. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations and assignments within the QA department.
- Develop and implement QA processes and strategies to meet product quality standards.
- Lead a team of quality testers and automation engineers, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to identify defects and improve quality.
- Monitor compliance with industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Analyze quality metrics, defects, and user feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Conduct and participate in product testing, ensuring thorough validation before release.
- Manage testing schedules and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Provide performance evaluations and professional development opportunities for team members.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in QA, with a strong focus on test automation.
- Proven expertise in Property & Casualty insurance products.
- Strong knowledge of web applications and preferably experience with Guidewire InsuranceSuite.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and the software development life cycle.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Quality Analysis and/or Project Management (1-3 years).
- Prior experience working in the insurance industry (P&C insurance is a plus).
- Familiarity with Guidewire's Insurance Suite platform is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Access).
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic and evolving business environment.
Contract positions
Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment.
Permanent placed employees
Paid by and qualify for benefits in accordance with the policies of the hiring company.
