Job Description

Our client, a leader in the Automotive Industry, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing maintenance activities to ensure the optimal performance of equipment and facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in the automotive manufacturing industry and at least 8 years of experience or a journeyman certification. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.
Responsibilities:
*          Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and facility to minimize downtime and increase productivity
*          Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
*          Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues that impact production
*          Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste
*          Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment
*          Create and maintain documentation related to maintenance activities and equipment repairs
*          Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations
*          Train and mentor junior maintenance technicians

Job Requirements

Requirements:
*          High school diploma or equivalent
*          At least 8 years of experience in the automotive manufacturing industry or a journeyman certification
*          Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
*          Experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment
*          Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CMMS software
*          Ability to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergencies
*          Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferences:
*          Associate's degree in a related field
*          Experience in a lean manufacturing environment
*          Knowledge of PLC programming and robotics
*          Six Sigma certification
*          Experience with ISO 9001 and TS 16949 quality systems
*          Bilingual in English and Spanish
