Job Description

Our client, a food manufacturer in Kansas City, KS, is actively looking for Maintenance Supervisors 12+month contract positions!

2nd and 3rd shift openings!cWill train on 1st shift for the first couple weeks. 
2nd Shift Hours: 1:30 PM - 10:30 PM
3rd Shift Hours: 9:30PM - 6:30 AM

Position overview:
  • Supervise a group of 10-15 maintenance technicians in a manufacturing facility 
  • Provide leadership to the assigned crew to ensure the plant's safety and GMP policies are followed and that the crew executes work plans as directed. 
  • Integral member of the maintenance team that will be responsible for updating preventative maintenance programs and improving the asset care plans for plant equipment.
 

Job Requirements

Skills required:
  • Technical - Mechanical or electrical training 
  • Supervisory/Leadership training or experience 
  • Manufacturing - troubleshooting machinery 
  • Computer Skills - CMMS - Computerized Maintenance Management System 
  • Microsoft Office Suite     
 
 
Experience required:
  • 2 -Years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
 
 
Education Required:
  • High School Diploma with some technical training in maintenance/engineering field. 
  • Union- Journeyman experience preferred

Contract positions

Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment.
