Job Description

Our client in Hammonton NJ, is actively looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team for a 12+month contract position!

Shift Schedule & Hours:
  • 7pm-7am on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on etc). Every other weekend off. 
  • (60 hours one week, 24 hours the next week. 84 total hours for the 2 week period). 1.5x pay for overtime!
  • Will train on 1st shift for the first few weeks before transferring to the rotating night shift schedule.

 
Position overview:
  • Establish work plans that support and improve plant equipment reliability
  • Incorporate a culture of inclusion and continuity within all departments through Continuous Improvement 
  • Direct, train and develop maintenance team members for assigned area/shift and work orders 
  • Using problems solving skills and root cause analysis to resolve and/or mitigate maintenance issues
  • Identify opportunities to eliminate cost and/or waste through applying LEAN manufacturing principals
  • Identify, implement and document maintenance and reliability best practices
 

Job Requirements

Experience Required:
  • Strong technical aptitude along with proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • SAP experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate and problem solve 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate others and work with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Previous Maintenance Supervisor experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Experience in Production reporting systems and Preventative Maintenance programs
 
Experience Preferred:
  • Experience working in a food manufacturing setting 
 
Education Required:
HS Diploma 

 Education Preferred:
Bachelor's degree
