Job Description
Our client, a global food manufacturer in Omaha, NE, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a 7+ month contract position.

2nd shift hours:
2pm-11pm
Position overview:
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead and motivate teams while providing leadership coverage across all departments. This fast-paced, flexible role supports production by stepping in for supervisors and driving impactful maintenance projects. You will identify opportunities to improve efficiency and ensure smooth operations. The ability to work any shift is essential.
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead and motivate teams while providing leadership coverage across all departments. This fast-paced, flexible role supports production by stepping in for supervisors and driving impactful maintenance projects. You will identify opportunities to improve efficiency and ensure smooth operations. The ability to work any shift is essential.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining work plans to support and improve plant equipment reliability
- Fostering a culture of inclusion and continuous improvement
- Directing, training, and developing maintenance team members
- Using root cause analysis to resolve maintenance issues
- Identifying opportunities to reduce cost/waste using LEAN principles
- Documenting maintenance and reliability best practices
Experience Required:
- High school diploma or GED and related work experience
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- 1+yr of experience as a maintenance supervisor in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience Preferred:
- Experience using SAP
- Maintenance experience in a food manufacturing environment
Education Required:
High school diploma or GED and related work experience
