Job Description

Our client, a leader in the Automotive Industry, is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent to join their team. The Maintenance Superintendent will oversee the maintenance operations of the manufacturing facility and ensure optimal performance of equipment and facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in the automotive manufacturing industry and will be able to lead a team of maintenance technicians. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities:
*          Manage a team of maintenance technicians and supervisors; ensure their activities are coordinated to maximize uptime of equipment and facility
*          Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and increase productivity
*          Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure it meets safety standards and regulations
*          Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues that impact production
*          Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment
*          Create and maintain documentation related to maintenance activities and equipment repairs
*          Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations
*          Train and mentor maintenance technicians to develop their skills and knowledge

Job Requirements

Requirements:
*          Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field
*          5+ years of experience in the automotive manufacturing industry
*          Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
*          Experience in managing maintenance teams
*          Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CMMS software
*          Ability to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergencies
*          Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferences:
*          Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field
*          Experience in a lean manufacturing environment
*          Knowledge of PLC programming and robotics
*          Six Sigma certification
*          Experience with ISO 9001 and TS 16949 quality systems
*          Bilingual in English and Spanish
