Job Description

Our client, a manufacturing company here in the Grand Rapids area, is actively looking for a Director of Maintenance to join their team!
Direct hire/full-time
1st shift
Will oversee a large team of 20+ maintenance leaders and technicians. 

Position will involve:
 
  • Supervise and lead all maintenance processes and operations.
  • Track expenses and oversee the budget for maintenance.
  • Maintain all machinery to ensure it's at working standards.
  • Create and implement maintenance procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.
  • Plan and manage all repair and installation activities.
  • Ensure all department workers adhere to the safety policies and procedures.
  • Assign repair schedules and evaluate repair cost estimates.
  • Document and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
  • Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies when necessary.

Job Requirements

Must Have:
  • 10+ years of maintenance experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge and experience repairing/servicing plastic injection molding machinery
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of management experience

Contract positions

Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment. 

 

Permanent placed employees

Paid by and qualify for benefits in accordance with the policies of the hiring company.
