Maintenance Electrician

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently run conduit and wiring for various machinery, including 480v 3 PH, 120v, and 24v systems.
• Perform electrical installations and wiring of machines, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Specify and select electrical components such as fuses, starters, and subpanels for machines.
• Order and manage materials independently using purchase orders from approved vendors.
• Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic tests on existing electrical equipment to identify and rectify issues promptly.
• Ensure all electrical work performed is up to code and meets operational requirements.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an electrician in an industrial setting; Journeyman status is preferred but not essential.
• Practical knowledge and experience in running conduit and wiring for industrial machinery.
• Ability to independently spec electrical equipment necessary for manufacturing processes.
• Strong organizational skills to manage material procurement through purchase orders.

Preferred Skills:

• PLC experience highly preferred, offering a significant advantage.
• Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in industrial electrical systems.
