Job Description

Manufacturing Engineering Technician - 3rd Shift
Are you a skilled technician with a knack for troubleshooting and a passion for manufacturing? Our client is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Engineering Technician for their 3rd shift. This role is pivotal in supporting and enhancing manufacturing processes and equipment. Join a dynamic team where your technical expertise will help ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the calibration, testing, setup, and repair of various controls, instruments, and gauges measuring variables within the manufacturing process.
  • Monitor equipment performance and adjust setups, calibrations, and alignments.
  • Evaluate and diagnose root causes, taking immediate action to resolve issues.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and standardization.
  • Collaborate with facilities, operations, maintenance, and vendors to prepare for equipment installation.
  • Perform PLC, welding, and robotic troubleshooting.
  • Track data associated with production equipment and report any inconsistencies.
  • Read and interpret electrical prints.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Technical degree preferred.
  • 2-4 years of practical experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • High degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
  • Aptitude in machine controls, robotics, electrical circuitry, or mechanized/automated welding.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-focused mindset.

  • Experience with advanced troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific standards and regulations.
  • Certification in relevant technical fields.
