Manufacturing Engineering Technician - 3rd Shift
Are you a skilled technician with a knack for troubleshooting and a passion for manufacturing? Our client is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Engineering Technician for their 3rd shift. This role is pivotal in supporting and enhancing manufacturing processes and equipment. Join a dynamic team where your technical expertise will help ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the calibration, testing, setup, and repair of various controls, instruments, and gauges measuring variables within the manufacturing process.
- Monitor equipment performance and adjust setups, calibrations, and alignments.
- Evaluate and diagnose root causes, taking immediate action to resolve issues.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and standardization.
- Collaborate with facilities, operations, maintenance, and vendors to prepare for equipment installation.
- Perform PLC, welding, and robotic troubleshooting.
- Track data associated with production equipment and report any inconsistencies.
- Read and interpret electrical prints.

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Technical degree preferred.
- 2-4 years of practical experience in a manufacturing environment.
- High degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently.
- Ability to multi-task effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills in facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
- Aptitude in machine controls, robotics, electrical circuitry, or mechanized/automated welding.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-focused mindset.
Preferences:
- Experience with advanced troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with industry-specific standards and regulations.
- Certification in relevant technical fields.
