Customer Service Representative
Salary Range: $45,000 - $48,000
Location: Sarasota, FL (On-site) or Remote (for out-of-state candidates)
Remote candidates must be available to work 10 AM - 7 PM EST to provide coverage for Pacific time zone customers.
Orlando, FL candidates may start remotely but should be open to working in an office if one opens in the area.

About the Role
Our client is seeking Customer Service Representatives to join their team, providing top-tier phone support to insureds, agents, and internal teams. This role involves processing policy transactions such as cancellations and changes, resolving customer inquiries with accuracy, and ensuring a seamless service experience. Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound customer inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
- Process policy transactions, including cancellations and policy changes, within assigned authority.
- Provide accurate information on products, policies, and procedures.
- Identify customer needs and escalate inquiries when necessary.
- Stay updated on marketing campaigns and policy updates to offer informed responses.
- Recognize and report discrepancies in procedures or policy details.
- Collaborate with internal teams on customer service initiatives and projects.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in business or insurance preferred.
- 1-3 years of related customer service experience, preferably in insurance or an agency setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt to a changing business environment and work flexible schedules across multiple time zones.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an insurance agency or related field.
- 220 or 440 insurance license (or willingness to obtain).
