Robotic Technician (Days and Nights Available)
 
Qualifications:
  • 2 years' experience with robotics in a manufacturing setting
  • Basic PLC programming and troubleshooting skills
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions
  • Good communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels within the plant
  • Mechanical, electrical, and computer aptitude
  • Willing and able to walk 50% of the time

Job Requirements

  • Ensuring proper operation of casting equipment using robotic automation
  • Providing on-floor manufacturing support and coordinating new job changeovers
  • Maintaining and programming robots
  • Adhering to safety protocols and identifying opportunities to improve uptime and reduce costs
  • Performing preventative maintenance and repairs as needed
  • Observing and practicing all applicable lockout/tagout requirements
  • Observing and diagnosing malfunctioning equipment and making repairs
  • Diagnosing and repairing malfunctioning apparatus such as faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components
  • Dismantling, inspecting, and repairing machines and equipment
  • Installing and replacing parts as needed
  • Performing other duties and repairs as assigned
  • Working in seasonal hot and humid conditions, dust, noise, and other elements for extended periods of time and sitting 10% of the time
