Job Description

Our client, a family-owned Midwestern grocery/retailer that strives to better the lives of people in all communities is in need of a Lead Software Development Analyst.
 
This position is 100% Remote, (Local) preferred, or six-state footprint (MI, OH, IN, KY, IL, and WI). 
Must be able to work on EST hours.

This is a 4+ month contract.
Equipment will be provided.

Must Have:
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience
  • Software testing
  • All aspects of SDLC
  • Strong Analytics and Technical background
  • Strong project lead experience
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Big Picture thinking

The ideal candidate for this role has 10+ years of relevant work experience. Software analysts are responsible for all aspects of software development projects. 

They work with customers to develop an understanding of their needs and the specifications the project will require. After careful planning and research, they work with other software developers to produce code and a system to meet those specifications. 

They help test the software to ensure it fully meets their customer's needs. Once the completed project is delivered, software analysts work with the customer to install and learn to effectively use the program. If any issues arise, they are responsible for rewriting code and providing updates to the users. 

They also work with customers to maintain existing software as needed throughout its lifetime. Software Analyst Tasks include: 
  • Participating in code reviews and providing technical expertise; 
  • Analyzing and modifying software systems using a variety of coding languages; 
  • Implementing and testing programs for business goals, ensuring fit to user needs; 
  • Documenting existing systems, proposed modifications, and software requirements.

Job Requirements

Development Skills:
  • .Net C# / Core / Java
  • SQL - more backend
  • Azure-based (Data Factory-COSMOS_
  • Git
  • API's - preferred over backend development

Contract positions

Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment. 

 

Permanent placed employees

Paid by and qualify for benefits in accordance with the policies of the hiring company.
