Our client, a Global Leader in the Medical Device Industry has an immediate opening for a Jr. Power BI Developer for a 8 month + Contract. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Connect, clean, and model data from multiple sources including SQL databases, Excel, and cloud-based systems.
- Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Optimize and troubleshoot existing Power BI solutions for performance and accuracy.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across reports and dashboards.
- Document solutions, including data models, report logic, and development processes.
- Stay up to date on Power BI updates and best practices to improve reporting capabilities.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 1-2 years of experience working with Power BI or similar data visualization tools (internship or academic project experience considered).
- 1-2 years of experience with converting or retooling PowerBI reports and dashboards
- Good understanding of relational databases and proficiency with SQL queries.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
