Overview:
 
Our client, an automotive manufacturer in the Holland MI area, is looking for Journeyman Electricians to join their team on all shifts!
Join the team as an Electrical Maintenance Technician and be at the forefront of keeping our clients' operations running smoothly. We're looking for a skilled technician who excels in electrical and mechanical repairs. If you're passionate about maintaining equipment, solving technical challenges, and ensuring safety, apply now!
2nd and 3rd shifts available
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Electrical Systems: Install, repair, rebuild, and maintain electrical systems, ensuring uninterrupted power for machinery, production equipment, and lighting.
  • PLC Expertise: Diagnose and program PLCs to optimize machinery performance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve machine malfunctions and electrical issues by disassembling, adjusting, or replacing components as needed.
  • Control Panel Installation: Wire control panels, distribution centers, machine controls, switches, timing devices, and lighting systems.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical codes to execute safe and effective repairs and installations.
  • Emergency Response: Make swift emergency repairs to prevent production delays when required.
  • Layout and Material Management: Perform installations, create layouts, and manage bills of material based on engineering specifications.

Job Requirements

Qualifications.
 
  • Certification: Must be a Journeyman Electrician. Completion of a 4-year apprenticeship program certified by the U.S. Department of Labor
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, with a solid understanding of electrical concepts, practices, and theory.
  • Troubleshooting: Skilled in troubleshooting AC/DC electrical control circuits, transformers, relay logic, LVDT's, and programmable logic controllers.
