Our client is actively seeking a certified Journeyman Electrician, a key player in their dynamic team. As a Journeyman Electrician, you'll be instrumental in handling a variety of electrical tasks, ranging from installations to troubleshooting and repairs. Your hands-on skills and knowledge will ensure that electrical systems function optimally and safely, adhering to all relevant codes and standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code and local regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks and inspections of electrical systems.
- Collaborate with construction teams and other tradespeople on projects.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentice electricians.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Manage electrical supplies inventory and maintain tools and equipment.
- Keep detailed records of all work performed and materials used.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license. (or 4+ years Heavy industry experience)
- Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician in various settings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, equipment, codes, and safety procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams.
- Good physical condition and strength to handle the demands of the job.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
