Internal Auditor

Impact Business Group is partnering with you Nationwide Commercial Roofing Contractor on a PERM Onsite Internal Audit Opportunity.  

The Internal Auditor will be responsible for assisting the Director of Internal Audit in providing internal audit coverage to all operating units, serving as the direct point of contact with the operating units on their assigned audits.

The Internal Auditor will provide audit services including:

• Review of compliance with financial policies
• Review and testing of transaction processing.
• Assessment of revenue recognition practices including
  • project budget adjustments
  • over under billed status
  • cost of completion percentage to ensure accuracy of earned revenue and profit as reported.
• The position will interact with operating units, regional accounting, and corporate accounting.
• 10-15% travel

Requirements for the Internal Auditor include:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Minimum 3 or more years of progressive construction industry-related experience in accounting or auditing
• Project accounting experience is ideal
• Applied working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), accounting procedures, and auditing standards
• Solid communication and skills to adapt and effectively work with varying styles across multiple operating units to successfully complete the audit requirements.
• Ability to understand and follow standard operating policies and procedures
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
