The Instructional Designer will assist the Talent Development team in conducting needs and task analyses, designing and developing new e-Learning training solutions. Training solutions may include all methods (e.G., instructor-led, online, job guides, videos, self-paced, blended, etc.) Scope of work could include support for all areas of the business (stores, corporate, supply chain). Primary areas of focus include functional / technical training, job specific training and compliance.
The best candidate will have previous experience as an instructional designer in a business environment with a proven track record of developing creative performance-based training solutions with a measurable ROI. Required qualifications and competencies include strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, planning and project management skills, the ability to effectively partner and collaborate with others, and strong technical skills in Microsoft Office. Candidate must be high proficient in one or both of these e-Learning authoring tools: Lectora/Storyline Articulate. Other desired knowledge and experience include certifications and / or specific training in Criterion-Referenced Instruction, Building Better Job Aids, adult learning methodologies, and other related topics. Experience with a Learning Management system and tools such as GoAnimate are preferred.
