Job Description
Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for numbers and a passion for the automotive industry? Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Sales Administrator to join their team. This role, reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager, offers a unique opportunity to play a crucial role in the sales process while contributing to the success of our client.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and complete piece price and tooling cost estimates for new and existing business.
- Effectively communicate details of quote packages to the team responsible for manufacturing parameters and primary/secondary tooling quotes.
- Generate required customer quote package documentation and ensure timely submission to the account manager.
- Prepare all necessary paperwork in response to customer requests for quotes on existing business.
- Maintain and update price lists in the QAD system for saleable products.
- Distribute customer purchase orders and maintain a well-organized purchase order filing system.
- Participate in the preparation and presentation of sales or technical reviews to customers or management.
- Keep information in DIN (Decoma Information Network) and QAD current and accurate.
- Create Sales Orders in the QAD system for various types of orders.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all information and data handled in daily job responsibilities.
- Organize and manage the filing system for Sales program binders, including open and closed quotes, engineering changes, and customer communications.
- Handle filing of obsolescence claims and maintain a comprehensive tracking system for such claims.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree or 4 years of relevant job experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Prior experience with QAD or similar MRP system.
- Strong mathematical background.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Preferably, prior experience in cost estimating.
- Knowledge of injection molding, painting, and assembly in the automotive industry is a plus.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.

Contract positions
Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment.
Permanent placed employees
