Job Description

Our manufacturing client in the Muskegon, MI area is looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to join our manufacturing company as an Inside Sales Coordinator for direct hire.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for incoming sales inquiries and provide prompt and professional responses to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to generate and follow up on leads, ensuring timely and accurate entry of customer information into the CRM system.
  • Assist in preparing sales quotations, proposals, and contracts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, including production, logistics, and finance, to ensure timely order processing, fulfillment, and delivery to customers.
  • Monitor and track sales orders, ensuring on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, order status, and customer feedback to the sales team and management.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of sales strategies and promotional campaigns to maximize revenue and meet sales targets.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities and industry trends.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and sales pipeline in the CRM system.
  • Continuously strive to enhance product knowledge and stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales coordination, customer service, or a similar role within the manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint), and other relevant sales and marketing tools.
  • A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • A strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and an understanding of technical specifications related to products is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and work effectively under pressure.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends as required.
