Information Risk Analyst

The Information Risk Analyst will take a leadership role to build out defensive measures to protect internal systems. This position will design and maintain technology surrounding security monitoring, intrusion prevention, malware prevention, and systems hardening. In this role, the Information Risk Analyst will be responsible for playing both defense and offense as it relates to security protection.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
: Day to Day execution to maintain, monitor and continually improve security monitoring initiatives.
: Evaluating and deploying new detection and prevention capabilities.
: Handing security incident response.
: Evaluate and recommend new security technologies.
: Routinely scan and test systems for vulnerabilities.
: Review and audit IT systems for risk and compliance adherence, and prepare audit reports for management.
: Perform additional responsibilities as required.
: Serve as project manager for all security related projects,
: 3+ years of security engineering and/or security operations experience
: Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, SOC, PCI-DSS, NIST Cybersecurity Framework
: Familiarity with common network vulnerability/penetration testing tools including, but not limited to, Metasploit, Kali Linux, and Nmap.
: Knowledge of the latest attack trends, tools, and the threat landscape.
: Hands on experience with some or all of the following systems: Intrusion Detection Systems, SIEMs, Vulnerability Scanning Systems, and Governance, and Risk Management and Compliance Systems.
: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
: Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
: Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Education Requirements: Bachelor' s degree in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics or similar is required.
