Job Description
Our client is looking for a motivated IT Systems & Network Technician to join their growing IT Operations Team. In this role, you'll assist in setting up new locations, monitoring and resolving network connectivity issues, and maintaining critical systems and network infrastructure. You'll work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, troubleshooting and problem-solving to ensure seamless IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points (Cisco).
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and support of hardware and software systems such as Hyper-V, VMware, Windows Server (2016-2025), and Windows 11.
- Manage and monitor network connectivity, perform system upgrades, and troubleshoot network-related issues.
- Maintain Microsoft Active Directory, Azure/Entra ID, Exchange, SharePoint, and M365 CoPilot.
- Provide technical support for IT help desk requests, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.
- Assist with disaster recovery planning, backup management, replication, and system maintenance.
- Maintain network and system security, including user access controls and data protection.
- Document network configurations, settings, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and participate in relevant training programs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for network infrastructure and system upgrades.
- Hands-on experience with routers, switches, DNS, DHCP, and other networking technologies.
- Proficiency in M365 applications, including Visio, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
- Must be available 24/7
- Travel is required for this role.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as Microsoft MCSE, CompTIA Security+, Network+, or Cisco CCNA/CCNP.
- Experience with enterprise storage solutions like HPE Alletra.
- Familiarity with VOIP phone systems (Mitel/ShoreTel) is a plus, but training is available.
- Previous experience documenting IT systems, network configurations, and troubleshooting processes.
