IT Solutions Architect




As an IT Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for all aspects of the technical sales process. A successful candidate will:

  • Work proactively to enable Account Managers and identify sales opportunities
  • Assist with sales cycles related to server, storage, networking, security, cloud, and virtualization solutions
  • Coordinate with vendors or Service Delivery team for technical validation and project scoping 


  • Work with Sales, Marketing, and technical leadership to:
    1. Create proactive sales and marketing initiatives
    2. Coordinate activities with vendor resources
    3. Create Account Manager training initiatives
  • Hold trainings and create training content for Account Managers
  • Coordinate trainings for Account Managers with vendors and distributors
  • Assist in network architecture, development, and evaluation of technology solutions presented to customers
  • Attend customer calls with Managers to understand customer needs and position appropriate solutions
  • Create customer facing sales presentations
  • Create content and deliver customer facing webinars
  • Manage customer account satisfaction from a technical perspective by working closely with our technical resources
  • Achieve and maintain necessary certifications
  • Continue professional development of IT products and solutions
  • Ability to travel to customer sites as needed for sales presentations

Job Requirements


  • Minimum 5 years' technology sales and/or service delivery experience 
  • Proven service delivery success a plus
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant industry experience


  • Microsoft office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio
  • Relevant industry certifications such as A+, Network+, Server+, Storage+, VSP, VTSP, CSE
  • Architecture/design knowledge of server, storage, networking, security, cloud, and virtualization solutions
  • Ability to execute exceptional consultative sales practices
  • Strong presentations skills on the phone, in person, and in group settings
  • Interpersonal and customer service skills and ability to translate technical terms into non-technical language
  • Must demonstrate a 'can-do' attitude 


  • Relevant industry certifications are a plus, such as Network+, Security+, Server+, CCNP, CCDA, CISSP, MCSE, VCP, VTSP
  • VMware ESXi
  • Windows Server
  • Network switching and routing
  • Windows skills, AD, DNS, DHCP, etc.
  • iSCSI/FC SAN knowledge
  • SDS/HCI design and implementation experience
