Job Description

Our client, a Global Medical Device Manufacture has an immediate opening for a SAP Training & Project Coordinator for a 18 Month Contract opportunity. This role will focus on cross-workstream coordination, training material development and testing, training exercise creation, supplier communications, and overall program management support leading up to the SAP go-live and projects post go-live.  This individual will act as a key partner and central coordinator for workstreams, helping to streamline tracking, communication, logistics, and training readiness across teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Training Readiness & Development
    1. Partner with Business Process Owners and IT to build and refine training exercises and materials for end users.
    2. Finalize all training content, serving as the key liaison between workstreams and central training teams.
    3. Test and validate training IDs: log in, troubleshoot issues, and escalate questions to appropriate team members.
    4. Ensure documentation is clear, accurate, and aligned with global template standards, in partnership with IT solution architects.
    5. Support training deployment plans, including readiness tracking, feedback loops, and communication of expectations back to the teams.
    6. Work with deployment groups to track and confirm accurate end-user role mapping across roles.
  • Project Management & Change Support
    1. Track cross-workstream deliverables, risks, and actions to ensure visibility and timely follow-up.
    2. Develop trackers, reports, and status updates to support program milestones.
    3. Support change management and problem-solving for process-related challenges.
    4. Monitor and oversee Kanban boards to track progress and dependencies across IT and business teams.
    5. Track supplier readiness and Ariba onboarding; respond to external supplier communications to keep them informed and prepared.
  • Program Coordination & Logistics
    1. Manage team logistics, including travel calendars, workshop scheduling, room coordination, note-taking, and action tracking.
    2. Facilitate cross-team communication to ensure alignment across workstreams and stakeholders.
    3. Provide administrative and logistical support for testing cycles, workshops, and training events.
    4. Attend key program calls (e.g., RAID reviews, cutover planning, PLM sessions) and bring back clear updates to the teams.
    5. Track, mitigate, and escalate risks and issues, ensuring timely updates to leadership.
    6. Build professional presentations and communications (e.g., PPT decks for workstreams to share with deployment group/end user partners, ALT, etc.).

 

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Training, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in project management, training development, supplier engagement, or related areas.
  • Hands-on SAP S/4 experience; ability to navigate the system and support troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication skills, with proficiency in English (written and verbal).
  • Proven ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and manage complex priorities.
  • Highly proactive, organized, and detail oriented.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work through ambiguity.
  • Willingness to travel (10-15% expected with this role) - US based travel.
