Software QA Lead

Our client, a leading global manufacturer, is seeking a Quality Assurance IT Lead to oversee the end-to-end testing function across enterprise-scale projects and programs focused on an ongoing SAP upgrade/migration. You'll drive test strategy, lead test execution, and shape testing standards within both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.

Responsibilities:

• Own the delivery of the testing phase across large IT projects and programs
• Ensure all testing deliverables meet established standards, quality expectations, and stakeholder requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop test strategies, plans, scenarios, and cases
• Lead test execution across multiple project teams; track and report daily progress
• Manage the full bug lifecycle, proactively resolving issues and maintaining momentum
• Create test dashboards and reporting metrics to provide clear insight into progress and risks
• Partner with Automation Engineers to align manual testing with automation initiatives
• Coach teams on QA best practices, Agile/Waterfall methodologies, and CI/CD principles
• Continuously improve testing frameworks, standards, and tools
• Advocate for a quality-first mindset across the IT and business landscape

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience leading software testing efforts on enterprise-scale projects focused on SAP
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and lifecycle management
• Proven SAP-focused QA Project Leadership in cross-team environments with ability to influence and guide
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor's degree required
• Experience working within Agile/SCRUM and traditional project delivery environments
• Technical familiarity with Azure DevOps, MS Visual Studio, ServiceNow, SAP, and Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO)
• Familiarity with development languages (Java, C#, .NET)
• Prior experience testing web-based applications in enterprise environments
