Job Description

Our client, a Leader in the Food Operation and Distribution Industry has an immediate opening for a IT Asset Management Analyst (Hardware/Software Asset Management) for a 6-12 Month Contract-to-Hire opportunity.  Our client offers results-driven people a place where they can make a difference - every day!  You will also have the opportunity to work with other like-minded, self-directed, and detail-oriented individuals in an extremely collaborative and professional environment. 

 

*** On-site in Grand Rapids, MI / Hybrid Schedule (3-4 days onsite with Tuesday being a mandatory day) *** 

 

Responsibilities -

 

This role is to identify, analyze, consolidate, and manage details related to costs and contracts for IT Asset Management. This will include managing details about new or extended Hardware leases, the cost of Software Licensing for existing and new Licenses and tracking of Technology contracts and spend, this will also include new License needs as they arise.  This role may also provide Performance Analysis on SOW-based projects and other ongoing Software Vendor projects to make certain that deliverables and spend are being managed.


This role will utilize the ServiceNow platform as the primary business tool for documenting and managing IT Assets and IT spend.  Candidates with user-focused experience with ServiceNow are highly desired, this firm will also train in ServiceNow for an experienced IT Analyst who has experience with Hardware/Software Licensing/Asset Management.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

 

  • 2-3+ years experience with Technology Asset Management
  • Analysis/Reporting of IT Asset spend, ie. Hardware Leasing, Software Licensing, and related
  • IT Asset Management including cost reporting and optimizing spend
  • Technology Spend Data Analysis experience
  • ServiceNow End-User experience Highly Desired - will train if needed 
  • Degree Preferred 
  • Strong Excel Skills
  • Strong inter-personal skills for customer facing purposes
  • Eagerness to learn and utilize modern software tools to guide decision making

Contract positions

Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment.
