IT & Cybersecurity Compliance Specialist
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
IT Operations & Support
* Administer Windows servers, workstations, networking equipment, and cloud services.
* Provide helpdesk and technical support to engineering, production, and administrative teams.
* Maintain hardware/software inventory, deploy updates, and enforce secure configurations.
* Support ERP/MRP systems, test equipment connectivity, and production floor IT needs.
CMMC 2.0 Implementation & Governance
* Conduct gap analysis and drive remediation efforts.
* Maintain compliance documentation including SSPs, POA&Ms, and policies.
* Implement technical controls aligned with NIST SP 800-171.
* Prepare for audits and coordinate with external assessors and consultants.
Cybersecurity Operations
* Manage firewalls, EDR, MFA, and secure remote access.
* Monitor logs, investigate alerts, and support incident response.
* Enforce access controls, least privilege, and user lifecycle processes.
* Evaluate vendors and third-party tools for DoD compliance.
Policy, Training & Culture
* Develop and maintain cybersecurity and IT policies.
* Conduct security awareness training and reinforce best practices.
* Partner cross-functionally to embed secure processes company-wide.
Skills
* Hands-on IT administration experience in a small business environment.
* Working knowledge of NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC 2.0.
* Experience with MFA, EDR, SIEM, and vulnerability management tools.
* Strong documentation and organizational skills.
* Ability to prioritize, work independently, and manage competing demands.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience supporting Windows environments and Microsoft 365.
Job Requirements
Education and / or Experience
* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* 3-7 years of IT and cybersecurity experience.
* Manufacturing or defense industry experience preferred.
* ERP/MRP system experience a plus.
* Azure and Microsoft 365 GCC experience preferred.
* Security+, CySA+, or similar certifications preferred.
Contract positions
Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment.
Permanent placed employees
Paid by and qualify for benefits in accordance with the policies of the hiring company.
