Job Description
Are you a seasoned HR professional with a knack for leadership and a passion for manufacturing? Our client is a fast-paced manufacturing company in the Black Mountain/Old Fort, NC, area and they're on the hunt for an experienced Human Resources Manager. If you have 7+ years of HR experience in manufacturing and at least 5 years in a managerial role, our client wants to hear from you!
*Will offer relocation assistance for out-of-area candidates!
Responsibilities
- Serve as the go-to HR expert for all site leaders, offering leadership, guidance, and training.
- Oversee the HR department's overall effectiveness and efficiency.
- Spearhead recruitment efforts for salaried, manufacturing floor, and temporary positions to attract top-tier talent.
- Take charge of talent management, development, and engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate key annual programs such as benefits enrollment, wellness events, leadership training, and more.
- Maintain and update the site's HR handbook, processes, and procedures.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the HR department and across the facility.
- Drive HR KPIs and formulate action plans to meet operational goals.
- Manage the site's HRIS system.
- Collaborate on global HR projects and lead or support as needed.
- Ensure all HR activities are in compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of HR experience in a manufacturing setting.
- At least 5 years in an HR Manager role.
Prefer:
- Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
