Human Resources Manager

Our client in the Dover, New Jersey area is looking for a Human Resources Manager to join their team!
Will be a hands-on HR position that will require with a strong generalist background.
The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with plant leadership to develop HR strategy
The ideal candidate will have experience with all facets of the human resource and labor relations functions.
Translate business strategy into HR strategy
Partner with the Plant Managers and Staff to deliver HR solutions that meet business needs
Foster a positive employee relations environment, including team building and effective communications
Create a diverse workforce and inclusive environment
Foster the development of HR team
Develop and implement strategic staffing and recruitment methods and processes
Be a champion for Talent management and Workforce Planning
Lead Performance Management and Compensation Planning efforts
Leverage internal organizational effectiveness and leadership development processes
Be a change agent and encourage continuous improvement activities
Preference for a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Oversee HRIS administration
Partner with corporate teams for benefit administration, W/C administration and payroll coordination
Ensure compliance with State and Federal employment law
Ensure compliance with various leave of absence laws and regulations
Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
Bachelor' s degree required
6+ years of experience in a Human Resources role
3+ years of experience within a manufacturing environment
HR leadership experience managing direct reports
Experience working with large (500+) employee populations
PHR / SPHR certification preferred.
