Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance to supervisors and managers on personnel policies, employment laws, and best practices
- Lead investigations and provide resolutions on issues including harassment, discrimination, ADA, EEOC complaints, and employee disputes
- Oversee unemployment claims response and analyze liability reports to manage risk and cost
- Coordinate and facilitate weekly employee orientations in collaboration with business leaders
- Assist with open enrollment and support benefits-related employee communication
- Maintain accurate, compliant employee records and documentation
- Support internal audits, customer audits, and quality control initiatives
- Analyze turnover, absenteeism, and vacancy trends; propose and implement solutions
- Collaborate with leadership on employee recognition and retention programs
- Drive employee engagement through exit interviews, surveys, and feedback analysis
- Support organizational development and change management initiatives
- Plan and execute employee events that build culture and morale
- Lead the Employee Relations function, setting standards for communication and collaboration across the organization
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with a strong focus on employee relations
- Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role managing HR professionals or cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field
- Strong understanding of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices in manufacturing or warehouse environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working with HRIS systems
