Job Description

Our client, a global food manufacturer in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a Crew Scheduler/HR Generalist for a 12-month contract position.

Part-time Schedule: 23-25 hours/week:
  • Wednesdays: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
  • Fridays: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM
  • Saturdays: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM
  • Sundays: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Position overview:
 As a Crew Scheduler/HR Generalist, you'll be working as a strategic member of the Operations team responsible for scheduling the hourly workforce on the production floor. You will act as the primary liaison between Supervisors and other members of Plant Staff, supporting any hourly position movement. Key responsibilities include:
  • Scheduling on-site hourly crews for defined shifts and maintaining accurate scheduling records.
  • Serving as the main contact for the hourly workforce, coordinating training and events.
  • Supporting production demand scheduling in collaboration with Supervisors.
  • Recording and reporting labor data, including attendance and compliance with labor agreements.
  • Maintaining compliance with Food Safety practices and plant policies.
 

Job Requirements

Skills Preferred:
  • Scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment
  • SAP and Kronos knowledge
  • Experience working in a Union environment
  • General knowledge of the food industry and manufacturing practices
Experience Required:
  • 1-2 years in scheduling, administrative support, or workforce management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite for record management and reporting
  • Experience communicating with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to manage high-pressure situations and schedule changes
Experience Preferred:
  • SAP and Kronos (1 year)
  • Food industry/manufacturing practices (2 years)
  • Union environment experience
Education Required:
  • High School Diploma/GED or International Equivalent
