Job Description

We are seeking Candidates for an exciting Web Dev Front End Lead / Architect role to participate in the new design and deployment of a new Web-Based product offering, building upon the current success of an existing commercial system.

This position is a permanent/direct hire role with our Software Development client.

This position is using a hybrid on-site/off-site work model.  This role is NOT currently considering candidates who need to work 100% remote.

This position will involve:

  • Helping Design/Architect new Front End systems to complement an existing web-based product offering
  • Design/Architect the new solutions with leading-edge FE technology, tools, and design concepts
  • Comprehending the existing system while designing new modules for it
  • Software Design / Architecting of new FE modules may involve - 
    • Helping set the technical direction for new products
    • Implementing / integrating multiple FE technologies related to Web, Mobile Apps (native), Tablet computing, etc.
    • Integration of systems with 3rd party vendor products
    • Collaboration between Design, Development, QA, and Marketing
    • Leading, mentoring, and supporting other Front End Development team members

Job Requirements

  • 5-7+ years FE software development industry experience in a commercial environment
  • Experience Architecting Web/Mobile-based software solutions
  • Experience working as a Team Lead
  • Experience mentoring others
  • Experience building solutions that may involve - (as many as practical)
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Angular (React, Vue)
  • SQL
  • Git
  • Event Driven Architecture
  • Mobile App Development (Native or Web Native)
  • Testing Methodologies
  • SQL - (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Kafka/RedPanda/Kinesis
  • Business Intelligence Reporting (Power BI, Tableau, QuickSight, etc.)
  • Ruby on Rails
  • Rails Engines
  • Web Pub/Sub
  • i18n (Internationalization experience)
  • Docker
  • Architecting cloud-based solutions (ie. AWS)
  • Email deliverability
  • Mobile Push Notifications
  • Jenkins
  • Swift/Objective-C/Java

Contract positions

Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment. 

 

Permanent placed employees
