Job Description
Our manufacturing client is seeking a skilled Forklift Maintenance Technician to join their team on 1st shift. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with strong experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining industrial forklifts-particularly Hyster and Yale models. The right candidate takes pride in keeping equipment operating safely and efficiently while contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented maintenance environment. This position plays an important role in supporting day-to-day operations by ensuring forklifts remain reliable and ready for use. Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on forklifts to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Conduct routine service and repairs on a variety of forklift types
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues related to forklift equipment
- Maintain and repair Hyster and Yale forklifts, ensuring safe and efficient operation
- Assist the broader maintenance team with facility-related maintenance tasks when needed
- Follow established safety procedures and company policies to maintain a safe working environment
- Participate in team activities and collaborate with coworkers to support operational goals
- Communicate effectively with team members and leadership to address equipment issues and improvements
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Current forklift repair certification required
- Minimum 4 years of experience repairing and maintaining forklifts
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow safety procedures and maintenance protocols
- Willingness to work overtime as needed in accordance with company policy
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Preferred Experience
- Hands-on experience repairing Hyster and/or Yale forklifts
- Experience maintaining multiple forklift types and models in a warehouse or manufacturing setting
- Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs and continuous improvement practices
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand or walk for up to 8 hours per day
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to work below the knees and above the shoulders occasionally
- Ability to climb stairs as required during the workday

Contract positions
Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment.
Permanent placed employees
