Financial Data Control Coordinator
Position Summary

The Financial Data Control Coordinator is primarily responsible for processing amendments on fees and costs recorded from the time capture system (DTE) and the financial system (3E) and posting of soft cost uploads Firm-wide.

  • The role also supports the firm' s data integrity in 3E by conducting timely set up and update of client, matter and timekeeper records by coordinating with the Partners, secretaries, associates, revenue controllers/managers, finance managers and firm administration employees.

  • The successful candidate must possess exceptional communication skills both written and oral, be able to anticipate issues and to work said issues towards resolution, be conscientious, be able to multi-task in a high paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for setting up and maintaining matter rates and exception rates, including auditing against Global Protocol to ensure all required approvals have been obtained

  • Responsible for processing all matter modifications and to ensure that all modifications are processed in accordance with Global Policy and Protocol

  • Ensure accurate and timely posting of all time entries

  • Responsible for time entry corrections, deletions and duplicate entry removals

  • Communicate as needed with DTE Admin and timekeepers to ensure that entries are being recorded accurately and efficiently

  • Responsible for posting and auditing of soft cost uploads firm wide

  • Responsible to review and action corrections of automated loads as needs

  • Review and prioritize inquires received including follow-up as needed with appropriate parties

  • Responsible for processing rate recalculations as requested

  • Education/Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required

  • Bachelors degree with a concentration in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Communications preferred

  • 1 - 3 years of corporate experience preferred

  • Law firm experience preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel (e.G. Pivot Tables and Data Analysis)

  • Exceptional attention to detail
