Job Description

Our client, a global manufacturer in the Holland MI area, is seeking a Financial Analyst to play a pivotal role in shaping the company's financial landscape. This individual will be at the heart of developing accurate product costs and conducting thorough business case analyses by collaborating closely with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing teams. The role extends to providing critical financial support, reporting, and analytics across various departments, ensuring the alignment with corporate objectives.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing teams to develop accurate product costs.
  • Conduct comprehensive pricing analysis, supporting Supply Chain, Commercial, and Finance teams by analyzing pricing data, ensuring consistency with customer sales, and forecasting the impact of pricing changes.
  • Manage the annual budgeting process for commodity indexed pricing, maintaining the integrity of the P&L through rigorous analysis of financial trends, variances, and forecasts.
  • Prepare and distribute management reports, dashboards, and KPIs to offer insights into the financial health of the organization.
  • Develop executive-level presentations to communicate financial results and strategic recommendations to senior management and the Board of Directors.
  • Enhance financial processes, reporting tools, and analytical techniques to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting functions, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of experience with financial analysis
  • Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint.
Prefer:
Finance/accounting experience in a manufacturing related company

Contract positions

Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment.
