Facilities Manager

Job Description
- Oversee all facilities maintenance operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols to optimize facility performance.
- Supervise and provide guidance to a team of 5-7 direct reports, including maintenance technicians and janitorial staff.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and address facility maintenance needs.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any potential maintenance issues.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to execute repairs, installations, and maintenance projects.
- Monitor and maintain the fire systems, HVAC units, and fork-lift equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Develop and manage the facilities maintenance budget, including expense forecasting and cost control measures.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and advancements in facilities maintenance.
- Manage workers' compensation processes and ensure timely resolution of claims.
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of previous experience in a similar facilities management role, preferably in a distribution environment.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and practices related to facilities maintenance.
- Demonstrated experience in overseeing building maintenance, janitorial services, grounds keeping, fire systems, HVAC, and fork-lift maintenance.
Contract positions
Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment.
Permanent placed employees
Paid by and qualify for benefits in accordance with the policies of the hiring company.
