Job Description

Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements. Researches best business practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmark data. Collects and analyzes process data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on enhanced safety, increased productivity and reduced cost. Determines how new information technologies can support reengineering business processes. May specialize in one or more of the following areas: benchmarking, business process analysis and reengineering, change management and measurement, and/or process-driven systems requirements. 

 

This facility focuses on Class III electromechanical ALS & BLS devices used around the world. 

 

Position Responsibilities

 

  • Leading teams responsible for project management duties involving cross-functional collaboration focused on delivering internal products or administrative systems.
  • Overseeing project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Monitoring programs and projects from initiation through completion, interfacing effectively with internal customers or departmental personnel.
  • Organizing project activities and coordinating interdepartmental meetings to facilitate communication and ensure project milestones are met on schedule.
  • Analyzing existing business processes to measure their effectiveness and developing sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable improvements.
  • Researching best business practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmark data for performance comparison.
  • Collecting and analyzing process data to initiate, develop, and recommend new business practices and procedures aimed at enhancing safety, increasing productivity, and reducing costs.
  • Determining how new information technologies can support the reengineering of business processes.
  • Specializing in areas such as benchmarking, business process analysis and reengineering, change management, measurement, and process-driven systems requirements.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related discipline.
  • 6 or more years of relevant project management experience, ideally with exposure to medical devices or healthcare software systems.
  • Prior experience with companies like Philips, GE Healthcare, Boston Scientific, or similar organizations.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project scheduling, budget management, and resource allocation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with electro-mechanical systems, software, and hardware integration.
  • Ability to apply professional judgment and meticulous attention to detail in decision-making.
  • Experience with business process reengineering and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
  • Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, or similar project management credentials.
  • Experience with change management and process optimization.
  • Familiarity with healthcare IT solutions and real-time data sharing platforms.
