Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineering looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity in the field of packaging machinery design and management? We have an immediate opening at a global leader in this industry!
Key Responsibilities:
You will play a vital role on a team responsible for the design and development of innovative packaging machinery. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Leading a team of engineers in designing cost-effective, user-friendly, and serviceable packaging machinery.
- Collaborating with Sales, Manufacturing, and Clients to identify solutions to machine and application issues.
- Creating and maintaining schedules to meet customer deadlines.
- Ensuring that all parts and designs comply with company standards and internal schedules.
- Leading the development of design improvements, cost reductions, and changeover reductions.
- Sizing and specifying purchased componentry, working with purchasing and outside suppliers as necessary.
- Providing guidance to the manufacturing team, including hands-on assembly and debugging.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in machine design.
- Solid Works or similar software experience
- Mechanical aptitude and desire to work in a hands-on capacity.
