Job Overview: The Engineering Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our engineering department, leading a team of skilled engineers, and ensuring the successful design, development, and delivery of high-quality power solutions. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with effective leadership skills to guide projects, foster collaboration, and contribute to the company's growth.

Team Leadership:

• Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a team of 4 engineers & 2 techs, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide coaching to help team members achieve their potential.

Project Management:

• Plan, prioritize, and manage engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure seamless project execution.

Technical Expertise:

• Utilize your in-depth knowledge of power systems, electronics, and engineering principles to provide technical direction and solve complex engineering challenges.
• Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Design and Innovation:

• Lead the development of innovative power solutions that meet customer requirements and industry standards, while driving efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Champion a culture of innovation, encouraging team members to propose and explore new ideas.

Quality Assurance:

• Implement rigorous quality control processes and standards to ensure the reliability and performance of our products.
• Collaborate with quality teams to identify and address any potential issues in product design or manufacturing.

Communication:

• Effectively communicate project updates, technical information, and departmental progress to senior management and cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to provide technical support to customers and assist in pre-sales activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field).
• Proven experience (3+ years) in engineering management, preferably within the aerospace, defense, or energy sectors.
• Strong technical background in power systems, electronics, or related fields.
• Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
• Proficiency in engineering software and tools, as well as strong problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
