Our client, a Global Leader in the Medical Device Industry, has an immediate opening for a Medical Artificial Joint Inspector for a 12-month+ contract. WORK WEEK 7am to 3:30pm OT Possible
Position Description (Principal Duties and Responsibilities)
Performs inspection of manufacturing goods during the manufacturing process. Conducts dimensional inspection of sub-assemblies or final system assemblies. Interprets prints, manufacturing drawings, diagrams, wire cards, and lists in approving or rejecting in-process or final assemblies. The role has clearly defined procedures and tasks as well as defined guidelines to aid in decision-making.
- Ability to work with a microscope for an extended period of time.
- Performs incoming and/or manufacturing inspections of mechanical products and/or component parts.
- Ensures that raw materials, in process, and/or finished products or components meet company and FDA standards.
- Works from engineering schematics or blueprints to perform accurate checks and tests.
- Complies with documentation and FDA procedures and policies.
- Works from verbal and/or written directions/instructions.
- Helps to devise and utilize standard and non-standard inspection procedures.
- Contributes to the development of quality systems working instructions.
- Ability to clean and package components, including implants and Instruments.
