Job Description

Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)

 

 

As a Quality Technician, you will primarily be responsible for investigating, resolving, and documenting customer complaints. You will communicate with various business stakeholders including but not limited to Field Service Technicians, Sales Account Managers, and Quality Engineers, to determine the cause of reported customer issues and solve real-world problems that our customers are experiencing.
 
 MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Investigate customer complaints in a timely fashion and in accordance with global regulations.
  • Communicate with Field Service Technicians and Sales Account Managers to gather information necessary to conduct complaint investigations
  • Track and meet Corporate, Divisional and Team Complaint Handling metrics
  • Follow local and corporate SOPs to ensure compliance with external requirements
  • Lead completion of service report recoding (once identified by a Quality Engineer)
  • Tracking of returned parts
  • Handle inquires where appropriate from sales reps, service techs, tech support, line, etc.

Job Requirements

Requirements

 

  • High school education, degree preferred
  • 2 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of 21 CFR 820.198, ISO 13485, and/or ISO 14971 preferred.
  • Computer literacy with knowledge of Windows applications including but not limited to MS Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and take action on challenges
  • Ability to consistently meet goals and track own progress
